Entry requirements:    

Five GCSEs including Maths & English Language: a minimum of three GCSEs at Grade 4 and two GCSEs at Grade 5.

Amongst the modules studied on the course are: Human life span development; Meeting individual care & support needs, Working in Health & Social Care; Psychological perspectives.

Coursework; controlled assessments; externally set exam.

How will this subject prepare me for the world of work?    

The course prepare students for a wide range of careers within the care field such as nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work and working with children in a variety of settings.
