Birkenhead Sixth Form College appoints new student leadership team for 2026/27

Birkenhead Sixth Form College is delighted to announce the appointment of its new Student Leadership Team for the 2026/27 academic year.

Following the recent Student Ambassador application process, students were invited to take part in a competitive selection process to determine the College’s student leadership team. As part of the process, candidates delivered presentations to a panel, showcasing their personalities, leadership qualities, ideas for the College and commitment to supporting the student community.

After an impressive series of presentations, we are delighted to announce that Sophia and Josh have been appointed as the College’s new Head Students, supported by Deputy Head Students Eva and Danah.

The Student Leadership team plays a vital role in representing the College at key events and working closely with staff to enhance the student experience. They will also support the wider Student Ambassador team, helping to promote a positive and inclusive College community.

The positions provide students with valuable opportunities to develop leadership, communication and teamwork skills, while gaining experience that will support future university, apprenticeship and career applications. Through their roles, students build confidence, develop professional skills and make a meaningful contribution to College life.

The Student Leadership Team is a key part of this commitment, ensuring students have an active role in shaping the College experience and supporting its continued success.
