Students at the College took an exciting step towards their future this week as they immersed themselves in a dynamic Business, STEM & Apprenticeship fair, designed to inspire ambition and open doors to a world of opportunity.
The event brought together an exceptional mix of universities and leading employers, giving students the chance to engage directly with those shaping the industries of tomorrow. Representatives from institutions including Liverpool Hope University, Liverpool John Moores University, University of Staffordshire, BIMM Institute and the University of Liverpool were joined by major organisations such as RSM, Merseyside Police and Mott MacDonald.
Throughout the afternoon, students explored a wide range of progression routes, from degree courses to competitive apprenticeship pathways, gaining valuable insight into what their futures could look like. Conversations with professionals working in fields such as engineering, finance, policing and the creative industries helped bring career aspirations to life, offering a clearer sense of direction and purpose.
More than just an event, the fair created a space for curiosity, confidence and ambition to grow. Students were encouraged to ask questions, challenge their thinking and imagine themselves in roles they may not have previously considered.
As part of the College’s ongoing commitment to careers education and enrichment, experiences like this play a vital role in empowering students to make informed choices about their next steps. By connecting education with industry, the College continues to ensure that every student is supported to aim high, explore widely and step forward with confidence into their future.
