Image of Spooktacular Halloween Fest Brings Fun and Frights to Birkenhead Sixth Form College

Birkenhead Sixth Form College was transformed into a haunted haven last week as students and staff celebrated Halloween in style, all while raising £123.80 for Maggie’s.

From a fang-tastic cake sale and glow-in-the-dark sports to a spooky Kahoot quiz, themed lunch in 8SQ, and even a haunted escape room, the College was buzzing with eerie energy throughout the day. Staff and students went all out with their costumes, with appearances from The Grinch, Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Frankenstein’s Bride, and many more creative characters wandering the corridors.

The winners of our spooky contests were:

Best Student Costume: Winner – Evie, who designed and made her costume herself!
Runner-up – Bonnie

Best Staff Costume: Winner – Mark, who impressed as Beetlejuice
Runner-up – Jennine

Kahoot Quiz Winner: Rylee

The event was one of the many student enrichment activities run throughout the year at the College, providing opportunities for fun and creativity alongside academic life.

It was a day full of laughter, scares, and community spirit. A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and helped make Halloween Fest a frightfully good success!
