Teaching Staff

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and outstanding Teacher of Sociology to join our Sociology department. This is a full-time position on a fixed term basis to provide maternity cover until the end of
the 26/27 academic year.

The course follows the AQA specification, with a strong emphasis on academic rigour and covering topics such as Education, Crime and Deviance and Families. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for Sociology and the ability to inspire and challenge students both inside and outside the classroom. They will deliver highly effective, engaging lessons, drawing on evidence-based teaching practices to support excellent student progress and outcomes.

Salary: T1 - T9, £33,465 - £51,714
