  • One-to-ones

Termly meetings with assigned tutors to discuss progress and set goals surrounding achievement and next steps after College.

  • Careers Clinic

Each Friday lunchtime, our careers advisor tutors run sessions to discuss and plan careers activities, with all students welcome to book appointments by clicking here.

  • Independent research

The College encourages students to be proactive in their research into future careers fields, work experience and making contacts. This can include using Unifrog, detailed below.

  • Unifrog

All the College's student have an account with Unifrog, which is a one-stop-shop for all careers and university information and advice, along with providing an excellent logging hub for students' files, CVs, application forms and personal statements.

  • Student bulletin

Each week, our Student Engagement Officer compiles a bulletin full of information about the opportunities available both inside and outside of College, with tutors going through the information with students during their tutorial sessions.

  • Labour market information

Both the tutors and Unifrog help students stay in touch with job-related information, such as the demand for certain skill-sets at any one time.

  • Job stats

The tutors and Unifrog are also able to advise students on the number of jobs and apprenticeships available in any given field and/or geographical region.

  • College trips

Subject-related trips are a vital way that the College introduces students to the related world of work and help students gain first hand experiences.
