Teacher of Sport

Teaching Staff

We seek to appoint a dedicated and outstanding teacher to join our Sport team. This is a permanent position on a part time basis with a 0.25 fraction. You will be assigned one class of either BTEC Applied Sport or A-level P.E. The days of work would be Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings and Tuesday afternoons. The A Level P.E. course, follows the AQA specification and there is one class in each year group. The department also offers the BTEC Extended Certificate in Applied Sport following the Pearson specification.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Sport and the ability to inspire students both inside and outside the classroom. They will deliver highly effective lessons, utilising techniques and practices that are evidence based and engage learners.
The department has use of a newly extended Multi Gym and a Sports Hall for practical elements of the course.

Salary: T1 - T9, £8,044 - £12,431, 0.25 salary
