Teaching Staff

We seek to appoint a dedicated and outstanding teacher to join our English team. This role is to teach both A Level English Language and A Level English Literature. It is a part time, permanent position that is spread over 4 days, you will teach one class of each. The A Level English courses follows the Eduqas specification and has over 250 students enrolled. There are 5 teachers that contribute to the delivery of the A Level course and there is a positive, collaborative and supportive approach in the department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the teaching of English at Post-16 and have the ability to inspire students both inside and outside the classroom. They will deliver highly effective lessons, utilising techniques and practices that are evidence based and engage learners. They will also have a strong passion for the subject and be willing to support with extra-curricular activities within the department.

Salary: T1 - T9, £16,089 - £24,862, 0.5 salary
