Graduation Ceremony 2013

The Class of 2013 joined us with their family and friends at The Floral Pavilion, New Brighton on Wednesday 11th September, to celebrate their achievements and officially graduate from The Sixth Form College, Birkenhead.

We enjoyed a fantastic evening devoted to recognising the hard work and dedication our former students have achieved, which has led to yet another record breaking year for results making the Class of 2013 one of our most successful years so far.

Special guest speaker, Emma Parker-Goff, Managing Director of Artemis Media shared her inspirational story with the graduates at how she began her career in Politics and PR to eventually starting her own company, encouraging all of the graduates to follow their passions.

Graduates were awarded honorary scrolls and a number of students were awarded prizes for academic achievement, contribution to the college and individual subject prizes.

Thanks goes out to all of the staff and students involved for their help and support in making the evening a success.

Special Thanks goes to pianist Andrew Barney- a former student of The Sixth Form College- for returning to perform for the graduates and guests throughout the evening; Manor Garden Centre, for providing the beautiful filled troughs for the ceremony and their continued support managing the college grounds; and The Floral Pavilion, New Brighton for allowing the use of their wonderful venue and their dedicated team of staff who provided invaluable support on the evening.

Congratulations to all of our graduates, the evening was truly one to remember and we would like to wish you all the very best in the future!
