Drama students, Emily and Liam, and teacher, Liz, were interviewed live on Radio Merseyside this morning as the College prepares for a House of Lords peer to arrive and give a special guest talk.

Baroness Helen Newlove's husband, Garry, was murdered by drunken youths who were vandalising his car in 2007. The Baroness has worked tirelessly to educate children about the impact of antisocial behaviour ever since, leading to her appointment to the House of Lords in 2010.

Her visit to the College comes as our Drama department and Merseyside Police prepare to launch a joint initiative to help teach schoolchildren about the impact and consequences of antisocial behaviour. A specially devised play, written by our students in collaboration with Neighbourhood Police Officers, will debut next month. Listen to the interview below and stay tuned for more developments on this innovative new project!
