Staff at Wirral’s Sixth Form College took part in the charitable campaign that has taken social media by storm – The Ice Bucket Challenge.

Principal, Kathryn Podmore, led the team into the challenge by nominating fellow educational providers, KGV College in Southport, Huddersfield New College and Carmel College, St Helens to take it on before being thoroughly soaked with the icy cold buckets of water.

After the event, the Principal added, “Although it was absolutely freezing, it felt great to take part in the Ice Bucket Challenge to help raise vital funds for worthwhile causes. By nominating our fellow Colleges we hope to keep the momentum of the campaign going in order to continue to achieve this.”
