Below is a summary of the timeline leading up to you joining us in September 2023.

Welcome Day for New Students - Monday 10th July 2023 | 9am - 1pm

This is your opportunity to get used to College life before starting with us in September. Enjoy taster lessons in each of your chosen subjects, welcome assemblies and tours of the College campus while receiving your new College lanyard - plus a free ice cream at the end of the day!

GCSE Results Day - Thursday 24th August 2023

GCSE Results Day Clinic - Thursday 24th August 2023

If you have any concerns after receiving your GCSE results and want to speak to an expert member of staff at the College before your enrolment appointment, you can come to our GCSE Results Day Clinic to put your mind at rest. Further details of timings and procedure to be announced soon.

Enrolment - From Thursday 24th August - Wednesday 30th August 2023

You will receive your own personal Enrolment appointment, which is where you'll come to the College to finalise your subject choices after discussion and advice from Heads of Department, and you will officially become a Birkenhead Sixth Form College student.

Fast Track Enrolment

Your Enrolment and consent forms will be sent to you in the post by mid July. Included will be a pre-paid envelope for you to return these documents, and if you do so before the advised date, your Enrolment will then be fast tracked at your appointment as we will have been able to process your details. If not returned by the specified date, you will have to bring these forms with you to your Enrolment appointment.

Emailing us your results on GCSE Results Day

On Thursday 24th August after receiving your GCSE results, you need to email us with either a picture or a scan of the results. These should be sent to: results@bsfc.ac.uk

Remember to include the whole of the document in the pictures so we can be sure of your identity.

Lessons Begin - Monday 4th September 2023 - First day of term for new students

This is a dedicated day for solely new students to come into College and settle into College life. You'll have a special timetable for the day and have lessons with your new teachers and classmates, as well as meeting your tutor and making new friends.
