Open Evenings

Dates for 2011-12

Open Evenings are being held from 6.00-8.00pm on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 2nd November
  • Wednesday 7th December
  • Wednesday 21st March

Open Evenings are a great way of finding out what Sixth Form is like and what subjects you may wish to study.

Come and find out more about the College and what makes us one of the top performing inclusive Sixth Forms on the Wirral.

Talks are taking place as follows:
 

6.15pm & 7.15pm

Principal's Talk (The Hub 2)

Kathryn Podmore and other members of our Senior Management Team will provide an overview of the college and how we support students to achieve

Followed by:

Using technology to support learning and achievement (The Hub 2)

Mal Blackburne, College Learning Manager, will be talking about how the College is leading the way in using technology to support learning and achievement.

At our Open Evenings you will have an opportunity to:

  • Attend talks by our Principal and other senior managers and find out about how we are committed to ensuring that our students achieve and exceed expectations
  • Find out more about the wide range of qualifications we have on offer for September 2012
  • Meet our current students and see examples of their work
  • See our Performing Arts students perform
  • Speak with our experienced subject and personal tutors who will support you at College
  • Find out about how we support and prepare our students for applying to University or applying for employment
  • Find out about the wide range of enrichment activities we have on offer
  • Look around our facilities and try out some of the technology that you will have access to whilst you are at College
