The college offers wide range of courses:
Application Process
We accept new applications to study at the college all year round, but strongly advise that you apply early to ensure that we can accommodate your choices.
Applications are now being accepted for September 2012 admission
* Students with significant Learning Support Needs should submit an application no later than February 2012.
Before applying
Before applying, you should think carefully about what you would like to study and consider the course options available to you.
Our College Prospectus gives an overview of life at the College, our facilities and the new opportunities available to you. You can also see all of this and more by visiting one of our Open Evenings. Open Evenings provide a valuable insight into the courses and you will have an opportunity to ask staff and students questions.
Submitting an application
The application form will ask you to complete information about yourself, along with what you wish to study and what qualifications you have achieved, or are likely achieve.
Once you have completed your application you should return it to the College and your application will be reviewed.
Interviews
Once you have submitted an application form we will review your application. We will invite you to attend one of our monthly interview evenings which take place from December - June.
At the interview, we will talk you through the options that you have chosen to ensure that you have made the best choices to suit your interests and ambitions. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and explain why you would like to study at the College. We will also ask you to bring a report or reference from your current school.
You will receive a letter within one week of attending the interview to confirm whether you have been successful and to confirm your offer of a place for September.
New Student Conference & Registration
We invite all students who have confirmed that they wish to join the College to a 'New Student Conference' at the end of June. Here you will have the chance to try out the subjects you are considering doing and we will give you an information pack and a date for you to register at the College in August. At registration, we will discuss your GCSE results and make sure that you are on the most suitable course.
