Normal BSFC entry requirements for an AS programme of study. It is expected that students will have at least a Grade C in English Language GCSE
About the Subject
The Politics course at AS Level looks at the United Kingdom and how it is governed. Students are encouraged to develop a critical awareness of the nature of politics and the relationships between political ideas, institutions and processes.
At A2 students look at theories and concepts and link this in to aspects of democracy studied in the AS

What Next?
Many students go on to do Politics at University. Even for those who do not it is a relevant subject for any academic study. In the past politics students from BSFC have gone on to do a range of degree courses including Law, Medicine, History and International Relations.
