Election Debate
College students hosted their own Election Debate last week (April 28th), the only public meeting to be held in the region in preparation for Thursday's vote. Candidates Frank Field (Labour), Andrew Gilbert (Conservative) and Roy Wood representing Stuart Kelly (Liberal Democrat) faced a group of 100 young people.

Fishing Grant from local council
Four Birkenhead Sixth Form College students have secured a grant of over £4000 from Wirral Borough Council’s Youth Opportunities Fund, enabling them to offer fishing lessons to youngsters in the brilliantly refurbished Birkenhead Park.
