Birkenhead Sixth Form College

Talented BSFC student, Simon Southern, was invited to help raise money for this year’s Children in Need Appeal at an event broadcast live on BBC One.  Along with other dedicated fundraisers he wowed audiences at Liverpool’s World Museum.

To support Children in Need, Birkenhead Sixth Form College students working towards their Community Sports Leadership Award led other students and staff in an ‘It’s a Knockout’ style sporting challenge.

Birkenhead Sixth Form College has fought off tough competition to get through to the second round of the BBC Schools Question Time Competition.

Liberal Democrat Peer and Co-Chair of the Liberal Democrat Committee on Education, Families and Young People Baroness Walmsley visited Birkenhead Sixth Form College to speak to Politics, History and Law students on Friday 26th November.
 

Birkenhead Sixth Form College student Jemma Edwards has been presented with the Merseyside Partnership’s Young Volunteer of the Year award.
