Safeguarding our Students

Birkenhead Sixth Form College recognises that members of staff and learners have an important role to play in safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and preventing their abuse.

The College has written a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy and Procedure to ensure that the welfare of the child and vulnerable adults is always placed at the centre of its activities.  The Designated Safeguarding Officer is Kate Rigby, Assistant Principal.
